Truly a beautiful resort with amazing views

Stayed in the 'general' area - pleased as the 'private' sites seem quite cramped. The sites are mostly paved and protected by hedges (good thing as we had wind gusts of over 100km/h and driving rain for a few days). Overall a pleasant venue for either short term or longer stays. All primay issues were satisfactory although the shower cubicle design was poor as far as access and space is concerned - however, water was hot. Laundry at present is 5 X R5 coins for a large wash and 4 X R 5 for tumble driers - better than most places. 15 minutes drive away from nearest city facilities. Good meals available at Pub opposite the camp entance. Brief looks at other caravan parks surrounding the city confirmed to us that this was the best choice overall and very well priced for pensioners and other qualifying discounts.

Although access is easy enough, I was slightly taken a back with the distance to this Park. I would have thought an extra sign post or two would be a great help. One travels and travels and becomes more and more unsure as to being on the right way! The park in itself is great - large stands, excellent ablutions, shops, liquor store etc. all available. Friendly (slightly bored!) staff but most acceptable. Very friendly long term campers, and, may I say this, most acceptable campers at that - neat, well looked after, and very accommodating to talk, assist, etc. Very different to other parks with such long campers, where one is inclined to stay away.!! Very good value for money - even long term stands! - and lots of attractions in the area. Good fishing for those who wish to do so, play parks for the kids ... excellent
