Quivertree Forest Rest Camp

We arrived at the campsite just before dark, for our overnight stay. The R650 felt expensive for what we got.Then again there are not many options in Keetmanshoop. The campsite was relatively quiet so we had one of the ablutions to ourselves.The ablutions are good.Adjacent is a covered kitchen,open on the sides,with a sink and hot water.

It is only a short distance of gravel road outside Keetmanshoop. The stands are spacious and the ablutions very neat. You camp next to the quiver tree forest and it is a photographer’s heaven. The Giants Playground is also a few kilometres away on the same farm. The owner is as friendly as all Namibians are and remember to enquire what time he feeds the Cheetahs. The swimming pool is at the main complex.
