The Trekkers Laager 3 Yzerfontein Caravan Park Newsletter recounts an enjoyable camping weekend held from 20–22 February 2026 at the picturesque Yzerfontein Caravan Park on South Africa's West Coast. Nestled along the shoreline, the campsite offered spacious, private stands with built-in braais and a peaceful setting that provided the perfect backdrop for another memorable club outing.

Members arrived throughout the week, settling into camp before gathering around evening braais to reconnect and share stories. Saturday's beautiful weather encouraged a leisurely walk along the beach, while a lively game of boules (metal ball) brought plenty of fun and friendly competition. As the sun set, campers once again gathered around glowing campfires to enjoy good food, great conversation, and the relaxed atmosphere that makes every Trekkers outing special.

The weekend concluded with the Laager 3 meeting on Sunday morning before members packed up and headed home, leaving with fond memories of another successful camping adventure.
