Hi all

I'm looking for recommendations for camping spots around Standerton, MP.

I can only get away for a single day, so the closer the better, but no further than a 2-hour drive max.

I've done a quick search on Google, but I'm hoping someone here might know of a special hidden gem—maybe a quieter farm stay or a great local spot that doesn't pop up in the general search results?

Please share your suggestions! Thanks in advance for the local knowledge.

You can click on that and search the map and then specific area there.

Here on the forum is a Resort Rating tab and you can even make use of that to see what camper feedback are for a specific resort.

Please note that not all resorts participate in the resort rating.

I‘ve never been there so I cannot comment on the facilities.

Vrede is 60km from Standerton, the place at the dam is quite nice.  Emanzini it is called, grew up there, did a lot of fishing there, also camped there recently, still in good condition.
