Has anyone camped at the caravan park at the Malalane golf course thats just outside the Kruger gate, your reviews...............

It is great for overnight stay on your way into the park. Only 5 or so stands on grass.

How would you rate it for a 2 month stay............

Would not be my first choice. Rather Henk van Rooyen Park in Marloth Park. Or inside Kruger. Or the Forever resort in Phalaborwa.

Hier is terugvoering wat ek elders gedoen het. As jy nie toegang het tot facebook nie, sal ek foto's hier vir jou plaas 

Terugvoering oor verblyf by Malelane Golf Club. Hierdie is n lekker oornag stop as mens vroeg wil ingaan in wildtuin die volgende dag of kan ook gebruik word as verblyf by wildtuin en net daagliks ingaan. Daar is 20x netjiese gras staanplekke met krag en waterpunt. Van die staanplekke het pragtige uitsig oor die wildtuin en Krokodil Rivier. Ablusie geriewe is in die hoofgebou en word gedeel met golfers en dagbesoekers. Dit word pragtig netjies skoon gehou en ablusie geriewe is meer as genoeg vir die hoeveelheid mense. Vir die warmer dae is daar n mooi swembad net langs die kampeer terein. Kampeer terein is seker 1km vanaf wildtuin se Malelane hek. Daar is lekker restaurant op perseel wat regtig baie billike pryse het. N 150g biefburger en chips was R65....Snitchel is R65 vir 1 of R100 vir 2. Ook lekker ontbyte op spyskaart gesien. Tariewe is baie billik en kan met gerusde hart aanbeveel vir mede Kampeerders

Die badkamers us klompie trappe klim. Atmosfeer was lekker....ons het nou nie lankstaan gedoen nie, maar het dit baie geniet

Only for 2 nights. We were end of last month for 5 days at Berg en Dal....we went every day there for lunch. Everyday the atmosphere in camping area looked attractive. I think at least 80% of campers were longstay campers. There are 2 or 3 sites that has got a very nice view on the Crocodile River and Kruger on the other side. But as Paul mentioned....will also prefer Forever Phalaborwa above Golf Club,  but game sightings is better in the south

We are currently at Phalaborwa forever resort at the moment and will be here a while , have just come from a 2 month stay at Henk van rooyen, want to return next year and had Malalane in mind as its right on the gate.

There is more game viewing in the south compared to where we are now.

I don't know if it is too far for you from the Kruger, but Kiaat bungalows in Hazyview is also nice....11km from Phabeni gate

Thanks, parks are popping out everywhere, have just sent them an email .

Malelane Golf Course is our preferred camp for overnighting on the way home from the KNP. Very nice ablutions and the use of the club restaurant for convenience. I don’t know about two months though…

Until when are you staying at Forever?

Does Malelane Golf Club give monthly rates?

I would much rather stay in the park. It is more expensive but what a difference.

Malalane does give monthly rates, R4800, p/m. which at that price I might just aswell go back to Henk van Rooyen.

Camping long term in the park is not an option, it just costs to much.

Dis nogal duur as mens dink ons het R200 n nag betaal. Ek dink die mense bly baie lekker daar...Junie maand was hy vol met lankstaan kampeerders. Voordeel is dat hy lekker naby is aan KNP se hekke
