Good Day,

I am looking for an adults only camping resort with a hot water pool, within a 3 hours drive of Johannesburg. 

Alternatively a resort with an adults only hot water pool.

Any recommendations?

I think you’re unlikely to find one. 

Never heard of an Adults Only caravan/camping park.

Generally you'll find most resorts pretty void of kids, mid week, out of season.

There is one somewhere close to Bela Bela. Can't remember the name.

Normally this sounds to me like a nudist camp so I do not pay much attention to it

Only "Adults Only" caravan park that I have come across was in the UK - was not allowed to go inside and look around unless I became a member. 
For "Adults Only Caravan Park" read "Nudist Caravan Park" - a place where you can literally "hang out".

Thanks for the responses. When I "googled" this I found loads in the UK, but none here is SA.Found a Youtube video of one in the UK. Looks fantastic. I have come across one in a Caravan & Outdoor life some months ago. Seems I will have to wade through all the old mags. I am not keen on the nudist camp, but I am sure it would be interesting.

Looking for peace and quiet. Need to go on a weekend.

Only place you will find in the RSA, bould be:-

1) Nudist, there is one in KZN.

2) A farm Camp where you could swim in a river pool, Or Farm dam,

but nothing as elaborate as a heated pool.

For this you need plenty of people and family with kids help to pay the expenses...

The only 'adults only' heated pool I know of is in the Montagu Caravan Park.

Only adults allowed there. No kids. Nothing to do with nudism and all that crap. Plainly a pool where there are no kids diving and splashing.

The closest resort that has a hot water pool where the kids are not allowed to splash is the under roof pool at ATKV Buddelspoort.  Last time we camped there this rule was still applicable.  There was control personnel on duty to ensure that this rule was adhear to.

Take note that the kids are still allowed to swim there but no jumping diving and splashing.

Ek het nog nooit so 'n plek van naby gesien nie, maar ek het 'n sterk vermoede mense sal ietwat teleurgesteld wees.  Die manne dink sekerlik aan 'n klomp jong mooi dametjies wat daar ronddartel.  Ek vermoed dit is waarskynlik eerder 'n klomp minder aanskoulike ouer vroue en 'n klomp lelike boeppens omies wat met groot verwagtinge daar rondstaan en 'n oorlas van hulleself maak.  Hoekom sou normale mense in elkgeval so-iets wil doen?  Hulle beweer dit is "natuurlik".  As dit so natuurlik is, waarom dra seker 99.99% van die mensedom klere?  Miskien hoort hierdie draad onder "Comedy Corner"en het ons dit almal foutiewelik as ernstig beskou.

Miskien verstaan ons die navraag verkeerd. Die persoon soek net n plek waar hy rustig vakansie kan hou sonder die lawaai van kinders.....ek weet daar is mense wat dit so verkies. Daar was n oord hier by Dinokeng wat so iets aangebied het....minimum ouderdom was 16. Dit was niks te doen met kaal mense of so nie....net vir die ekstra rustigheid

I think you are quite correct in stating the person may be looking at camping where there are no children allowed in general.

Perhaps you are talking about Klein Paradys?

I was talking about DE RUST in Dinokeng, but as far as I know their rules has been changed and allow children as well

You may be right, I only thought of K P, but don't have any personal experience of any of the resorts in the Dikoneng area, have just read some feedback some years ago, and we are out of camping totally now for 5 years. 

Perhaps Colin should look at mid-week camping, might solve his problems!

Ongemanierde kinders is enige plek 'n oorlas, maar ons het gelukkig nog net by uitsondering met sulkes by kampe te doen gehad.  Kinders bring bietjie lewe in karavaankampe en ons verwelkom dit.   Ons is baie lief vir ons kleinkinders en die kinders in karavaanmkampe is ook ander grootouers se kleinkinders, dus pla hulle ons nie.

Ons kamp egter deesdae slegs buite skoolvakansies en meestal ook nie oor naweke nie, so ons ervaar nie juis baie kinders op sulke plekke nie.  Dit laat die kamp soms soos 'n soort ouetehuis voel.    Maar ons aanvaar dit maar soos dit kom.  Jammer mense met nie-skoolgaande kinders wil nie meer buite skoolvakansies uitkamp nie- hulle sal dit baie meer ekonomies vind.
