Greetings after a long absence. I have just purchased an old Sprite Scout (side door) and I feel that the AlKo 900kg braked axle rubber suspension requires refurbishment. Is there anyone that offers this service in KZN? Thank you very much. Ad Rem.

Good day, I have been in contact with Burquip here in KZN and their only option, is to replace the axle. They were very helpful, however I would prefer to refurbish as to keep costs down. Does anybody know of a Company that still does refurbishing of AlKo axles, even if not in KZN. Thanks.

Here in Centurion is also a business called "The Caravan Guy".  They refurbished the axle of a friend of mine's Jurgens Palma.  They did an fantastic job.

CMC Caravans (Johan) does the replacement of the rubber torsion parts for R5,800.00 excluding VAT. This does not include the removal and fitting of the recon axle. One business day turnaround. Most helpful gentleman.          Hope this can help others with the same problem as me.

Thats not bad.

I had my Penta’s axle refurbished at AlKo 9 years ago for R11 500. All included via RoadQue.

RoadQue may still offer the service.

Ek moet se Geert dit het een kant se vervang ingesluit. Dit was gebuig. En dan Caravan Clinic het die op en aff gedoen en RoadQue die vervoer en AlKo die oor doen. Baia middle manne.

Karavan Perfect 3 is die plek om te gaan.
