Fleetline awning
Hi Louis. I do not have experience with the awnings other than the original Rally Canopies used with the Caravans. With the fleetline the Howling moon awnings should work fine because the caravan roof is low for you to gain access to it for setting it up.
On a conventional high roof caravan gaining access to the awning you will need some kind of smal ladder or stepping stool. In this case the automated one's could work better.
In hind sight I would think that the automated one's will not work well on the Fleetline due to the roof being lower than that of a conventional roof.
Geert (Relaxed Camper) has been using the Awnings extensively even adding another to the front of an existing one. So I trust that he can provide valueable info.
Sonder Jesus is ek niks! ! ! !

We have a Fleetline awning. Made a number of changes.
FIRST : Replaced ALL poles with adjustable poles. This makes life MUCH easier when pitching the tent. So, if you have heavy rain lowering the one corner takes only a minute or two.
TWO : Had Valcro fitted for all horizontal poles. The wind can slap the tent panels noisily against the poles.
THREE : Had a special FRONT panel made out of 80% shade cloth over HALF the opening width so I cab use it both sides, left and right. No wind, but see-through.
