I heard they've had a major revamp at Sugarloaf.

Hopefully you get some first hand information as I'd like to go there sometime.

Pauline please let us know if they upgraded Sugarloaf if you decide to go there. We are interested to know how it turned out.

We were there now the Oct 18 school holidays. Wonderful place. Seems to be a brand new fancy fence and gate, security patrols, and braais have been built.

The only sad thing was that in the week it was never more than 10% occupied, in school holiday period. Although I love it that way, the peace and quiet and darkness.  But for the long term success of the place not ideal. 

Ill go back, it was great.

also did a day trip up to Cape Vidal, saw so much game, hippos, buffalo. Cape Vidal was much busier and maybe 80% full. Wonderful part of the world. Given the amount of international tourist , clearly also on the regular itenary of the tour operators.

Sugarloaf I mean. There is also Eden Park, looked nice enough but completely deserted.
