Hi We would like to go to Scottburgh Caravan Park, is there anyone that could tell me if the resort is up to standards. Cobus

Been there now for 3 years in a row, if you want right on the beach it does not get closer than this....had some hot water problems though this last July but this might have been to the park being too full. They promised however that they are going to modernize the water heating systems. The ablutions are always clean, park is patrolled by security, sometimes even the SAPS drives thru patrolling so we have always felt very safe. The stands against the sea on top of the hill have the best views over the ocean but wind can be a real probleme here so use your storm straps from day 1. Lower down there are also stands right against the sea and although having quite a nice view and the "music" of breaking waves in your ears wind is not much of a problem here (but I still use my storm straps from day 1 just in case...). If you do camp here I think you will also find you would want to come back again and again...Think Prof Neels will also agree!
