Ek het al verskeie resensies gelees en daar gaan ek definitief kamp na die pes, sommer so op my pad na Marakele.

Ek dink Jin was Desember daar.....hy sal kan vertel

We responded to their advertisement for the pensioners special week.

I accept that there were circumstances out of their control, but are of the opinion that they were aware thereof and should have informed us accordingly!

1) The road is attrocious ... numerous large water pools, impossible to miss,on the way in, so much so that I was afdaid we would get stuck, even with the car solo! Last 2½km corrogated.

In their favour, they did provide an alternative of only the tarred section not much better than the other potholed road.

2) Sign at the gate stated to phone for entry .... calls went through to voicemail! Eskom was blamed for no signal????

3) We chose the place hoping the warm water pool would assist in  healing my wife from a recent knee replacement. There was never any warm water. I am of the opinion we should have been informed the pool is cold, even though we are aware of lodshedding ... afterall, they advertise, as such!

4) We were unable to wash on numerous occassions .... no hot water dspite gas geysers only to be iinformed a day later that there was insufficient water pressure to start the geysers due to loadshedding.

We learnt our lesson .... Find out in advance what the impact of loadshedding is on the resort!
