We are currently camping at The Point, Mossel Bay and are staying at Areena from November through to January.  We have not made fixed plans for our stay after that, but are looking at Yellow Sands as well as perhaps Cefani Mouth.  I was wondering whether anyone has recent experience of this resort and if it is at all safe.  Ek is nie lus om my woonwa te verlaat om te gaan visvang en terug te keer na 'n geplunderde wa nie!  Any feedback will be appreciated!

Yellow sands is best choice, but it will be packed in February with full timers, but it very spacious with . Cefane is very safe, monkeys will give you company . Another highly recommended place to visit is Palm Springs resort in Kidds beach,30km before East London from Port Alfred direction. All these resorts have private lagoon / beach that is exclusively for resort guests.

Another place close by is Rendezvous near Chintsa a little further up the coast than Yellow sands. We stayed there for two nights some 10 years ago.  Here is a link to my post when we were there.

My first ever camping trip was at Revenzdvous , private ablutions , it’s still well run. Another good  option is Morgan’s bay which is 83km from East London.
