Arrange an inspection before you commit to buying, and check that the relevant ownership and registration documents are available.
When choosing a caravan or trailer, make sure it is suitable for your intended use and compatible with your tow vehicle. For tents and camping equipment, check the condition of the materials, fittings and accessories, and confirm exactly what is included in the sale.
