Dit is baie netjies daar maar ek persoonlik dink dat dit eintlik net vir oornag geskik is.

Good day all you wonderful caravaners/campers. May you all have a wonderful 2015 (with all the perks like winning the Lotto etc.) Just had a wonderful 3 week stay at Lake Pleasant resort in Sedgefield. Am now retired and me and my good wife are going to do some serious touring. Our intention is to start in the Cape and move around from there staying about a month at each resort/caravan park. We are thinking of staying the first month in or around Hermanus and have started doing some homework on the Caravan Parks available in the area. It seems as though the two that are fairly popular are Onrus and Paradise Park. Since we will be there out of season the entertainment etc is not a major issue - good clean ablutions, grass covered sheltered stands and good security are however not negotiable.
Any advice/recommendations from members will be fantastic as we would hate to book in for a month, or longer, just to find that we are not happy with the facilities, noise, security or some other irritant.

Has anyone camped at Onze Rust (Colesberg) recently ? we thinking of stopping over there on route north.

Actually we have decided to go straight to Nqweba Campsite in Camdeboo instead.
