Heavy Duty Battery Isolation Switch with Lock Up
Hi All
Just thought I would share. I came across this heavy duty product on Takealot and works wonders on some of my vehicles and has saved me from continuously having issues with my batteries. Whats nice about it, it also has a lock up feature that safe guards your battery that most switches do not have. I have included the link as well should you be looking for one. https://www.takealot.com/heavy-duty-battery-isolation-switch-with-lock-up/PLID98884397
I looked at these a while back to isolate or switch the power to my movers off. Eventually bought the Victron 275-amp cut-off switch. The knob can also be removed, and therefore can not be tampered with. I am quite a Victron fan. The price was similar to this one. There is also a remote-controlled kill switch, quite a bit cheaper, no tampering, and I suppose convenient. I was just nervous to use remote controlled kill switch when working with power. I want to make sure the switch is off.
Lyndon, my apologies, I noticed only after my post that you are new to the group. Welcome, tell us a bit more about you and your camping ways, Tent/Caravan, etc. There are people on this site with the most amazing experiences and ideas. I am still learning every day from the guru's
Welcome and happy camping!
Welcome to the forum Lyndon.
I am also quite a Victron fan. There stuff is quality and flexible. And reasonably priced. Some argue too flexible/complicated.
