We are going to Scottburgh for the first time in Feb.

What stands would you recommend and why?

Madeleine, ons kamp al baie jare daar en beplan om ook Februarie te gaan. Probeer 15 (ons staan op 16), 17, 18, 19 of 20 kry. Hulle is op die strand, maar met beskutting teen die wind en die son en naby ablusieblok 1. As hulle vir jou 'n kaart stuur, probeer dan enige staanplek voor teen die see kry, behalwe staanplekke met hoë nommers, want dan is jy doer ver en hoog en in die wind se pad! Sterkte. Dalk sien ons daar!

Hi, we are going to scotburgh in November. If it does not rain I will take some photo's and post them. We went to Salt rock in September and it rained, and in October we went to Karridene and it also rained. KZN is always rainy at this time of the year.

Firstly if you dont like the wind go to the back of the park,

Feb is hot so do you require shade,

Do you want to have a sea view,

Do you want a site where the beach is on your door step,

Scottburgh is one of our fav parks and we always take a front site. We are prepared with storm straps, extra long tent pegs and yes we have had damage, but for the view it is worth it.

No rain yesterday or today in Durban, but tonight is is coming down again. Please hold thumbs for the next month that we camp with out the rain. The last two months we have camped in the rain. We want a dry weekend for Scottburgh.
